The crested caracara, (also known as the Mexican Eagle) is worth showcasing - it's beautiful and majestic, yet you hardly see it in art. I spot them all the time flying around near my home here in San Antonio, and they are always so striking.

These prints are high quality reproductions of my original 11x14 acrylic painting. For this piece, I wanted to work in a bold, angular style to complement the caracara's bold, striking coloring, along with a more muted color palette that reflects the sometimes harsh Texas landscape.
